Feel At Home Before Walking Through Our Doors

We are Here for You

Here at Journey, we have one simple mission: to connect to God, connect to others, and connect to purpose. We believe that these connections create a strong foundation for your faith-walk.

We know you have many churches to choose from in the Kingwood area. That is why we aim to help you feel at ease when you walk through our doors. Please keep reading so that we may answer any questions you have.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I expect during service?

We aim to make a genuine connection with you. We ask our first-time guests to fill out a connect card so that we can get to know you better and, if you desire, plug you in with our Journey family.

Where do I park?

We have convenient lot parking available directly in front of the church building. Overflow parking is located behind the building near The Zone Baseball fields. If needed, please follow the posted signs to locate that space.

Where do I enter the building?

Our main entrance is in the front of the building on Mills Branch Drive, next door to Subway.

What do I wear to your service?

A majority of our members attend church in casual dress attire.

What do I do with my kids when I arrive?

Head to the Connect Booth located just inside the main doors to meet with one of our Connect Team members. They will register you and your family and walk you to our Journey Kids area for check-in. We provide classes for infants and children from 6 weeks to 5th grade. Older children will sit in service and have the opportunity to meet with the Student Ministry on Wednesday evenings.

Am I able to keep my children with me during service?

Children are more than welcome to sit with their parents during the service; however we encourage parents to take advantage of Journey’s children’s ministries which are strategically designed to minister to children at every age level.

Does Journey have a security guard or team on site?

Yes. Journey has trained individuals scheduled each weekend who are ready to respond in the event of an emergency or medical situation.

What is there for my teen?

Journey provides a student ministry for 6th - 12th grade students.

How do you notify people if service is canceled?

During inclement weather conditions, we follow local emergency networks concerning cancellations. In the event of a cancellation, we schedule notifications to be posted on Journey’s social media outlets, i.e., Facebook and Instagram. We also send out text messages and emails to those we have up to date in our database.
